You may know Alexa as Amazon’s voice assistant, but what we’ve welcomed into Haddenham Park is a unique version created specifically for senior living. Thoughtfully integrated into every luxury apartment and care home room (with the exception of our memory care community, Chatsworth), Alexa becomes a quiet, reassuring presence, an in-room digital companion designed to enhance daily living.
So how does it work?
Through simple voice commands, residents have the ability to:
Call loved ones or members of the care team if they need any assistance.
Check the latest news, weather, and daily announcements.
Discover daily activities and events happening within our Buckinghamshire care home.
Request refreshments without leaving the comfort of their room.
View the daily menu, and even request alternatives, should they wish to.
Each resident receives a simple Alexa command menu with step-by-step guidance to help them navigate the technology with confidence and ease.
As one of our residents shared with a smile, “I use it to find out what’s for lunch and supper. If I don’t like it, I can order my own food to my room. It’s so easy to use.”
