At Haddenham Park Care Home, we are passionate about supporting our local community and creating opportunities for meaningful connection. Recently, we were proud to open our doors to the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity for a very special event that brought together more than 80 people from across Buckinghamshire to our beautiful Community Room.

There was a wonderful atmosphere as guests were welcomed to our beautiful care home to learn more about the incredible work of the Hospice and enjoy an informative and engaging lecture delivered by Melissa Wert from the Florence Nightingale Museum in London. The presentation offered a fascinating insight into the life and legacy of Florence Nightingale and the vital role the Hospice plays in providing compassionate care for patients and their families.

Our Commitment to Community.

Supporting local organisations and initiatives is at the heart of our ethos at Haddenham Park. We were delighted to open the doors to our stunning care home, providing refreshments and raffle prizes completely free of charge. It's an honour to help such an important charity maximise its fundraising efforts so that even more resources can go directly to those who need it most and we're proud to announce that we raised £1016 at this event!

Sue Peck, Volunteer & Charity Fundraiser for the Hospice, shared her appreciation

"On behalf of the whole Florence Nightingale team, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the team at Haddenham Park for hosting our event today."

Our Community Relations Manager at Haddenham Park, further added;

"It’s such an honour to work alongside such an inspiring organisation. At Haddenham Park, we believe in creating strong community connections and supporting causes that make a real difference. This event is a perfect example of how we can come together to educate, inspire, and raise awareness for the vital work of the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity."
