As December arrived and our beautiful care home began to twinkle with decorations and the inviting aroma of mince pies and festive treats, what began with a soft glow has soon become a radiant celebration filled with warmth, wonder and the joy of being together... and we're only halfway through the festivities!
Haddenham Village Christmas Lights Trail!
Our Christmas Light Switch‑On was a truly wonderful evening for all! Friends and neighbours gathered alongside residents and their families, beneath the soft glow of Christmas lights decorating our Buckinghamshire care home, sharing laughter over mulled wine and roasted chestnuts. With delicate grace and big smiles, our fabulous residents, Avril and Cath, lit up the night, officially launching the beloved Haddenham Village Light Trail from the heart of our home. What a joy and honour for our first Christmas in Haddenham!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Francesca Flaxton, whose thoughtful planning and boundless energy brought the event to life — and helped raise much-needed funds for Dementia UK, a cause close to many hearts.
Our very first Haddenham Park Christmas Fayre!
The very next day, the home was filled with the rich scent of mulled wine and warm pastry as our Christmas Fayre welcomed local makers and friends from our Buckinghamshire community. Handmade treasures and beautiful gifts were laid out with care, from pretty scarves and jewellery to hand-turned woodwork, paintings and a host of creative delights. Gentle conversations drifted through our elegant home, as neighbours and friends browsed, laughed and shared an afternoon wrapped in glorious festive charm.
And so the joy continues, and you are warmly invited!

Wednesday 24th - 11:00am Santa’s Workshop - an exciting morning of Christmas crafting
Wednesday 25th - 3:00pm On Christmas Day, Caroline Owen performs on the violin
Sunday 28th - 3:00pm Stacey Callier brings song and joy to close the year.

For some, Christmas can arrive quietly, without the companionship or celebration it truly deserves. At Haddenham Park, we believe that this is a day that no one should spend alone.
If you or someone you love is over 65 and may be spending Christmas Day alone, we would be truly honoured to offer them a seat at our table. and a complimentary Christmas lunch lovingly prepared and shared with warmth, laughter, and gentle companionship.
